When driving, I'd like to have my Droid read my emails to me, so I don't have to look and drive, err... um... wait for a stop light to read my email.

Is there an app for that? :)

I believe there is and it is definitely in the SDK. What I would like to see is implementation of the speech to text like handcent uses in their quick reply popup. It would be great to use in email, google voice sms and other apps as well.

I'm sorry, but what is SDK? Do you recall what the app is called?

SDK stands for "Software Development Kit". It's what is used to create the Android applications.

I too would love a speech to text app.

Best I've found so far is 'SayMyName'. Don't think it reads emails, tho. It will read SMS, and announce callers.
