There are 2 programs already mapped to the "Search Button" on my phone. I want to add the "Edwin" app to that list.

Does anyone know if that is possible?

if you are referring to the soft button search key, I know for the eris it was ported to have the camera open up on a long press of that button, and could be remapped to any other map, im sure it could be ported to the inc.

Yes, I am referring to the "Soft" search button. I was unaware of any other.

There's an app called "Button Shortcut" in the market. It will allow you launch any program when you long press the search button.
