1. Are you ready for the Galaxy S20? Here is everything we know so far!

Is there a way to display the battery percentage on the tab next to the clock?

The pulldown drawer at the top has the battery logo but does not show battery percentage. Is there a way to put the battery percentage up there? Currently I am using Elixir2 widget and placing a battery widget on the front page with battery percentage.

Only way currently is to root, install a 3rd party custom rom. Some already have something better eg revolution or you can install a custom theme over the top.

Thanks, so it can't be done then. Lookout app manages to sit on top there as well without being rooted.

You dont have to be rooted for an app to be able to place things in the notification bar, but I'm not aware of a battery app that will do what you're after (rooted or otherwise) unless you do as I mentioned. All the battery apps i've seen that show percentage are widgets.

    Cheers mate.

A nice battery widget is one called Battery Solo Widget
Gives a percentage and nice circular representation, and it even shows the battery temp. when clicked.
