I know I can watch videos on the browser but the quality sucks. Is there a hack to fix it?

The only way i know to get it to work is to keeping selecting the video like 100 times and it will eventually work. Def sucks that app doesnt work right, but oh well for now. Im sure they will fix it one day, well maybe.

Watch on WiFi. I just watched three Super Bowl ads in a row without a single error.

I'm guessing that when the phone gets an upgrade to 2.x it will have an updated YouTube app that works correctly over 3G.

Not in Canada, this displeases me.
    Maybe jdailey1981 should ask Napster.

I actually have had a similar problem since I got my Eris. When on 3G, I get an error stating "Cannot Play Video: Sorry, this video cannot be played". If I try to watch the same video over WiFi, then there are no issues. Is there a setting I need to change or is this a bug in the 1.5 youtube app?

I've seen this issue a few times and finally checked it out for myself (I dont use youtube) Wanted to see a video my boss told me about. One I couldnt view over 3G, tried the next one and had no issues. The one I couldnt view, I got the error "Cannot Play Video: Sorry, this video cannot be played" as someone stated above. Is this the error you guys are talking about that the youtube app is broken? Not tried it over WiFi. Will have to do that after work today and see.
