Is there a way to have a sms sig?

i have have the htc eris, and i was woundering if its possible to download an app, or maybe i just cant find it in options, to add a sig to txt messages. any help or suggestions would be great ty.

Handcent allows sigs, and a whole lot more.

As jimdroid said, Handcent SMS allows for sms sigs, and is overall way better than the stock sms app.
