So you can view stuff from your Epic on a bigger screen?

Not to my knowledge unfortunately, it's only possible if your handset has a mini HDMI out as it won't work over USB.

If it works, let us know.

I was told by Samsung that the Epic doest have the necessary chip for HDMI output like the European Galaxy S phones have.

I bought an MHL (HDMI to Micro USB) adapter on Ebay. The Samsung Epic 4G doesn't support it. It doesn't have the hardware/software to work with MHL.

I did do some research and the Samsung Galaxy II does support MHL, just not the Galaxy I (Epic 4G). :( Guess I'll need to upgrade!!!! :)
