So you can view stuff from your Epic on a bigger screen?
Not to my knowledge unfortunately, it's only possible if your handset has a mini HDMI out as it won't work over USB.
I was wondering the same thing.
I found this on Ebay.....
eBay - Micro USB to HDMI adapter for Samsung Epic 4G
I haven't bought it yet, so I'm not sure if it'll work.
Yes, there are several around..
MHL micro-USB To HDMI Adapter - Samsung SGH-t989 / Galaxy S II (T-Mobile)
For only $6.80 each when QTY 50+ purchased - Micro USB to HDMI
If it works, let us know.
I was told by Samsung that the Epic doest have the necessary chip for HDMI output like the European Galaxy S phones have.
What about DNLA
I bought an MHL (HDMI to Micro USB) adapter on Ebay. The Samsung Epic 4G doesn't support it. It doesn't have the hardware/software to work with MHL.
I did do some research and the Samsung Galaxy II does support MHL, just not the Galaxy I (Epic 4G). Guess I'll need to upgrade!!!!
