I don't need a notification that my battery is fully charged. Is there any way to turn that notification off? I also don't need to be notified that I have turned off the lock screen.

The full battery nag is getting annoying enough that I may root. I'd also like to clean up the status bar and center the clock. I may have to turn on my laptop...

And the transition animations. Every other phone I've had you can turn them off. They make this phone really slow.

You can turn off animations in the developer options.

I seem to be rooted now. Custom recovery is next.

    * TWRP installed from Freegee. Will figure out how to boot into recovery tomorrow. Then nandroid, then Xposed.

...and what do you mean the phone is really slow because of them ? This is the only phone i had that does NOT lag with heavy animations.

It's probably only half a second but I'm used to the snap of no animations.

Micro lag. Its due to stock gov settings. They are a bit slow to ramp the cpu from slow. Change to interactive and row. They will be gone. Use Trickster, set on boot.

G2 Xposed running. Clock centered. Nags gone. Navbar modified. Long press back button kills app.

Wish list: color the clock, hide the location reticle, hide the "set lock screen" nag on reboot.

I thought G2exposed let you change the clock color (as well as the color of most of the icons in the status bar........ otherwise I know theres other xposed modules that will (I used xBlast tools)..... theres also mods to eliminate the location icon.... as far as the set lockscreen....... set the lockscreen to the style you want and it stops asking you to set the lockscreen to the style you want

I turned off the lock screen. One of my favorite features of this phone. No more swiping in some random direction to get the phone to work when I wake it up. Yeah!
