Support Is there a way to turn the moment into a wi-fi router?

    I know it can be done with a windows mobile phone use a program called mobile wi-fi, but have you heard of it done on the moment? thanks

    If your phone is rooted then yes, otherwise its still in the works.

    my phone is not rooted (yet), looking for an app or way to do it without rooting, ideally I would like to see what android 2.1 will do for my phone before rooting. I guess I will wait and see. thanks

    At present you must have a rooted phone to even attempt WiFi tethering.

    With a rooted phone WiFi tethering is still a work in progress which tends to lock up the modem with only moderate use, forcing a reset of the phone.
