is there a way to use a aftermarket dialer and txter and not have to have a paid service provider

    i have a samsung galaxy precedent 2.2.2 3g rooted and want to know if there is an aftermarket dialer and txt messager that dosent need a paid service provider and is the thather wifi going to work if my service off basicly i dont want to pay for shit lol help

    you can only do that on wifi, so you will be very limited on where you can use it.

    sign up for google voice and get grove ip

    Or set up a paid skype account. I think it's 60 bucks if you buy the 1 year package with an incoming number. 60 bucks covers the whole year! I may end getting it to save on my minutes.

    It should work over wifi just fine, but I haven't tried it yet.
