I have a Kyocera C6740 from T Mobile that is unlocked, and I currently have Boost Mobile (Who has the same exact phone model and what not) and I wanna switch it to the boost mobile. Now they are telling me that they can't swap it over cause it isn't "Released by tmobile".

Now since they carry the phone themselves (and I wanna save a few bucks) is there anyway for me to root the phone to have boost mobile on it, or to have it be treated as a Boost mobile phone?

While that is a sweet site and what not, it doesn't exactly answer my question. It just tells me how to do things. What I want to know is if I can swap the T mobile version of the firmware out for the Boost Mobile variety.
