Hello everyone. Does anyone know of an app similar to NextMail. It's the feature from Sprint/Nextel that lets you select a contact, record a brief audio message and have it sent automatically to the contact's email/phone as soon as you finish recording. It would be neet if it exists. Sprint charges $7.95 for basic and $19.99 for pro a month for a service that I believe an adroid app can do (and possible better). Thanks everyone.

How does it get sent? Like an automatic voicemail or does the recipient need to have some way to check/open/listen to the message?

The way NextMail works is that the person sending has a specific number (he can configure this number and other numbers online) and associates it to an email. When sending, the sender locates this number on phone, once found, he presses direct connect button and begins speaking (recording). As soon as he release the direct connect button, the message is automatically sent to the email associated to that number. The recipient will see the recording as a .WMA attachment in their email.
