Hi, is there an app that will increase the volume for the headphone jack. The regular speaker is loud enough. If there is an app that increases volume for the speaker and headphone and turn off the speaker boost and keep the headphone boost on? My phone is rooted. Thanks

    Hi grindkingman,

I've moved your post to the forum where applications are discussed - you'll hopefully get more of a response here :)

To address your query, I used an app called Volume+ once upon a time, but I haven't used it in ages (nor has it been updated). Maybe that can at least get you pointed in the right direction though.

I would suggest posting in the forum for your particular device, because I think some apps work better with certain devices and don't work at all with others.

As vosg and Goodspike mentioned, the ability to increase the volume level beyond what the manufacturer specified is often very much device-specific. Let me know what device you have and I'll gladly move your question into a forum built just for your device.

You can look into smart volume control +, which is updated often. I've been using it for many months now, and it's crazy how many things you can mess with. I don't know what it does to headphones myself, but I'm sure it works good for what you're looking for.

I second smart volume control + as well. It's become one of my favorite apps simply because it offers so much. Check it out here: Smart Volume Control +
