Hey guys, I recently purchased the HTC HD2 and it's a great phone but I am not a windows mobile fan so i returned it and am back to using the Cliq. I was wondering if there will be a phone similar to it coming out with T-Mobile anytime soon but with Android instead. I know Verizon has the Incredible and that phone is incredible. I am wanting something similar to an HTC 1ghz snapdragon android phone for T-Mobile, please let me know if you know of any news or rumors, thanks in advance.

I have a T-Mobile account too and am due for an upgrade in August. I hope there's something similar to the Incredible coming soon.

Mike, I'm on a family plan, so I don't think I'm eligible for discounted pricing, but what about the Nexus One? That's for T-Mobile and has the 1Ghz Snapdragon.

the nexus one was the first snapdragon phone... but tmobile doen't sell it... you need to buy it from google... that is changing soon cause people want to see a phone before they pay 600 for it... its the first so it has some bugs compared to a newer one but it it open source form google so its ready to be rooted and receive fast updates from google for froyo

Rumor has it that project Emerald will be an HTC branded super smartphone. Names like sidekick and sidekick twist have been thrown around, which leads you to believe that it will have a full qwerty keyboard. Other specs include a 1ghz snapdragon, front facing camera and 4.3 inch super amoled display.

At this point It's only a rumor though.

yea the nexus is nice but I'm a fan of HTC and I like their new SenseUI

HTC made the nexus one... LOL...

And whynot just drop T-Mobile for a better carrier? Worst of the big 4....

Completely agree...While I enjoyed my time spent with T Mobile, after expanding my horizons a bit and trying the Incredible on Verizon, there's no way I would ever give T Mobile another dollar of my money.

Rumors have the Samsung Galaxy S headed to T-Mobile. Not HTC, but it appears to be definitely in the super-smartphone class. Android, 4 inch Super AMOLED screen, 1GHZ Cortex processor, etc.. It appears that there isn't a flash on the camera, what's up with that!

Yeah... I thought the same thing when I bought my samsung moment. At the time it was one of the best (presnapdragon).

Well, I was wrong. Lots of MAJOR bugs.

well, you can get the nexus one for a little less than 200$ with an upgrade and a new contract, but the latest and greatest phone coming out for tmobile is the mytouch slide, which is just like the mytouch but with the hardware keyboard and the new 2.1 android OS...which will be coming out for most android phones within the month of June

oops I mean the whole HTC senseUI in general, and personally I don't like the design of the nexus.

as far as carriers, because in GA, carriers don't really matter to me, I get the same coverage as my friends with VRZ or AT&T. I'm happy with TMO, they have the good prices, great selection of phones, and great customer service. And because I'm on a single line and I pay $65 a month and for the exact same plan on VRZ or AT&T it would be $100+.

Alot of rumors about high end HTC phones coming to T-Mobile this summer but right now they are just rumors (Sidekick Twist, HTC Vision). The MyTouch Slide will have Sense but it will be a 600MHz midrange phone. You can get a subsidized Nexus, while you won't get Sense, you will get Froyo and when HTC gets Sense for Froyo, I am sure that somebody will get it on the Nexus (but you would have to root to install)

I have the hd2 and I love it. IM running android on it right now. You can run wp7 winmo 6 android ubuntu. So its a great phone. And the speed is great.
