is there any application which stop all backgrond data

my internet plan is very limited so is there any application by that i can stop all background downloading and application and work on single application so i can save my money

Download Droid wall from market it is the best app to stop background internet access but it requires root acess to work ..if you are rooted then you can use it and it's free

sounds good so that mean i can run one application at a ...time without any background data downloading ?? like i want only gtalk need to be run else should be shut own stuff is it possible??.

yes you can do that and you can also select which app should have acess to data ..and which dont
