Root Is there any new roms i can use without ext

How are the two related?
only the ics alphas MUST have a partitioned sdcard.
You just have MUCH more space for apps if you partition your card.
Edit-some kernels do tho, so read a little first... Make a backup, and give it a go

Ya had like 7 GB of music until I stumbled up DT's A2SD. You really don't HAVE to partition your SD. Its all preference lol. Kinda prefer Pandora at this point. I dream of the SD card Bloodawn got... What like 2 Terabyte class 50 from a Nigerian??? For 24.95??? Holy multitudes of funk batman

I think what he means is, is there any roms that don't use EXT4, that use the original filesystem. I don't know of any, but I use my phone mostly as a music player too, and it works fine on EXT4 with windows. I have used winamp to sync to it, and drag/drop directly to the music folder. It also runs with spotify and pandora, and I never let my phone run without Poweramp.

If you do mean the SD-ext, then i assume you're using a small SD card and want as much space as possible for music. CTmod doesn't require the SD-ext, just ignore the koumamod bit and run it with a single SD card partition. Just make sure your music player stays on internal memory. I know poweramp has a lockscreen widget that won't work if its installed to SD card, like all other widgets, unless you get the separate poweramp widget pack. The built in music player should be on internal anyway, don't move it.

If its not either of those things, please give us a little more info on what exactly you're trying to do.

Though why wouldn't you want to use ext parition? It sure does free up a lot of space on your SD card.

Also I can see why you are mentioning ext. You don't want to use up space on your SD card to create an SD-EXT. That way you have more space for your music. If you really want stock and rooted with not many bells and whistles then use HalfAssRom.
