I know I can just tap the screen, but so many times, it doesn't land the cursor right where I want to delete. Yes, I can go back, but that deletes everything. I just want to be able to move the cursor back to the part that I want to edit, add or delete.

Is this not possible on the DINC??

use your optical joystick to move back characters. tap somewhere near where you want, then use the joystick.

use the trackpad to move the cursor to whever you want it to be. you can also tap the text and it will place the cursor where you would like.

Lol. I've notice that it doesn't work at times too. Not sure what cause it, but it happens rarely. The trackpad is very useful though.

yeah but I've had the situation where I typed this long text and I noticed I needed to go back and I clicked the area where I wanted the cursor to go and it wouldn't even come close, but I never tried the trackball, next time I'll give that a shot tho.

U know what's funny...There's so many times that I look at it and say to myself, "what EXACTLY is your purpose bc I NEVER use you!!" Seriously though, what I think it SHOULD be used for, it isn't, and things I think it shouldn't be used for, it is...I NEVER use it.

It's an UNFORTUNATE part of my genetic pool that I do NOT have PIANO FINGERS!!! This happens to me ALL the time. Almost 100% of the time, it doesn't go exactly where I want it to...trackball, HERE I COME!!!!!! :D

I never knew this! Thanks so much for posting. I'm curious if any of the other keyboards have a backspace option (swype, et al). Anyone know?

Swype does have a full keyboard for editing - Press the swype key and drag your finger to the key to the right of it (the symbol key maybe? don't have my phone in front of me).
