Is this for real???
How to Flash Motorola DROID X2 to Gingerbread 2.3.3 - StumbleUpon
Even if it is real, I wouldn't use it, just due to all the reports that GB and the dual core don't play well at the moment.
I would not trust a "leak" that didn't get promoted by the known developer community here, on Droid Life, Droid Forums, etc.
If the dev rumors are true, GB 2.3.3 is rough on dual cores. That said, the current firmware on the DX2 (IMO) sucks, so hard to go any lower than the memory sucking, audio popping, Flash choking, random resetting mess the DX2 has now. Seems GB 2.3.3 would be a step up (not suggesting to use it, just pointing out how the current FW sucks butt).
GB 2.3.4 is supposed to leverage dual core function. Assuming the rumors are true in the first place.
That said, the link and info the OP refers to seems veddy veddy fishy to me.
Ya it seemed to easy to be true...thanks
