Root is this legit way of rooting a phone?

    GingerBreak is the primary method for rooting the X2. You can find links to the one-click rooting apk in another thread here. Titanium Backup has a free and a paid version although you will need the paid version to "freeze" bloatware. The free version only allows for removal, but that is not advised at the moment for the X2.

    I went with Bloat Freezer over Titanium Backup. BF is only $1 lol

    whats bloat freezer do? just freeze apps? or does it allow backups and stuff to be made

    I'm pretty sure it only freezes, but that's all I want it to do.
