Help Is this normal?

I'm sending texts to my girlfriend. I can write out a paragraph text (Say 3 setences) and it will literally split it into 3 to 4 MMS segments. Sometimes a single setence gets divided into 2 MMS texts. My prevail allowed alot more words per text before it divided off. I'm not sure why this is but it doesn't seem right. Anyone expierence this or know how to lend a hand? Cheers and thank you for reading

P.S This doesn't always happen, sometimes I can send several sentences in one shot

I get this when I send to my friends iPhone. He is the only person it does this to. Other than that I can type full 160 character text messages without issue.

It happens to me too. Its the word "the". It screws up. Basically you have to save it in the user dictionary.

indeed, i started out on the samsung transform ultra, lost it, bought a prevail to stand in till i found it, used it two days before i got completely sick of it and used it for spare parts
