My company is wanting to setup some booths with 22" touch screen monitors. We have an Android App we want to run on these monitors, it would be customize to scale correctly of course. I know Android can be installed on a PC, but can it be setup with a touch screen monitor?

That depends on your level of programming skill. You'd have to be able to write your own drivers for the hardware I think.

I am pretty sure it would work with the Android SDK emulator. Since the touch coding is programmed into the PC OS. It would work just like using a mouse with a PC running the emulator. If i had a touch PC at home i would try it out, but i dont.

Well, we don't have any big graphics or videos or anything, just some data that display and maps stuff

You should try it out then, it should definitely work but it all depends on how well it will perform for you.

Its free, so I don't see why not. We are getting the hardware whether we go this route or not. Thanks for the input everyone.
