Is This The RCA Adapter I Need?

My stereo system (Phillips MCM530 Micro System) has RCA audio inputs (for some stupid reason ). I want to be able to play music from my G1 through the stereo. I'm wondering if either of these is what I should be using.

Yeah, I have something like that. But I'm going to need an RCA adapter to connect the G1 phone and its USB plug to my stereo. So I can plug the USB into the adapter, which would have the RCA cable plugged into the other end, before leading to the the RCA input jacks on my stereo.

The cable I linked to is rca. You plug one in into your g1s headphone jack and the other end into the rca inputs of the stereo.

Yeah, but see...the G1 (HTC Dream in Canada) doesn't have a headphone jack. It has a USB input for its earphones.

So, ideally what I need is a USB jack on end and an RCA jack on the other.

So I go back to my original question as to whether either of the three options I posted would work for my purposes. It seems they're used for one's PC, but I'm not sure.
