Yep. This will be my first! My dad has an Evo and I'll 1 up him with my Epic. Previous smartphones: moto razr (got washed away at the beach, horrible battery life, no features) → samsung instinct (hated everything about it) → HTC touch diamond (broke, gorgeous design, vibrant screen, loved touchflo, hated winmo) → Palm Pre (dropped and broke, loved WebOS, hated cheap hardware, lack of apps) → instinct (backup phone, hate it) → Epic!

I owned a Hero for a day and had no way to use it (long fingernails + capacitive screen...no go!). I didn't even activate it. So, my answer is non-smartphone as I've been using an Instinct since march 2009.

He joked about me being a man. I continued the joke with the Puddin' thing. Then made clear I'm a chick, just in case someone didn't get it. :)

Sorry - I had though of using "Palm" instead of "WebOS" as an option - at this point - may as well use WebOS

You're in the wrong forum if you think you'll use either of them. This is an ANDROID forum read the thread title!
