Real life probably has caught up with them.

I havent seen Trident in IRC in about 2-3 weeks or so and hasn't been of AF since Sept 4th. Savox is seen a few times as with Dre on IRC.

I've assumed for some time now that Velocity is dead. It seemed that once Trident moved to a new phone, the project slowed way down. I still really appreciate the work that the others did for the project (especially the script updates), but it just seemed to really sort of start to fade away at that point. I'm looking forward to what the new people here can make of this phone. I think most of us are going to be moving to newer phones soon, so it may get interesting as we have our old phones to toy around with and learn with.

If the Velocity Rom is dead then why ban individuals because of a leak... and lets not forget about the poll they took a few months ago, half the community asked for Velocity with ASOP flavor

But you have to remember that was made right after GB was announced by Drell. Since then no new development has been made on a GB ROM except Bionic. If Drell comes back and fixes the radio or some other Ally dev can figure it out, Velocity might come back. I can say that StormDroid would have a GB flavor if it's ever made stable. :D

And for banning, I will take a quote from when StormDroid was leaked.

I am afraid that Velocity is probably dead as I have not seen Trident or Savoxis in a very very bvery long time. But they might be working on something super secret or something.

Let's remember these are people with other lives and none of them are paid to work on ROM's for any phone except through the donations they receive from the user community, certainly not enough to support themselves.
They only "develop" when they have the extra time and want to, and are under no obligation to continue just because they decide to release a ROM or two.
I would love to see Velocity 1.2 and it's always nice to see a new ROM for Ally but there is nothing wrong with what we have now so I'm not going to complain about it, and if people want a new ROM, theme, or whatever there is nothing stopping them from making one.:)

I haven't heard from Trident since he left Team BAMF as well. It's a shame. His added input on the Tbolt roms was what made me love BAMF, just as I did with my ally.
