So I am trying to root a buddy of mines droid, and I used the method of flashing the sbf recovery stickied here on my wifes droid two weeks ago with no problems.

I downloaded the file, rsdlite, and the drivers. Installed rsdlite and drivers.

Then I opened up rsdlite and selected the recovery file to open and when I open it none of the information appears in the dialogue box on the right.

I tried downloading everything again thinking a file might have been corrupt. Tried running as administrator and no luck.

I've seen that rsdlite not recognizing the phone is a common issue, but didn't see anything about it not recognizing the recovery file.

    Any suggestions?

did you check the md5 of the sbf file to ensure that they match?

hmmm Ive never heard of this one before. Did you try all the normal things like putting the sbf in the root of your c drive. Also ready some people have only had success if the sbf is in my documents
