I recently got an unlocked Galaxy S5 (Verizon model), and I brought it to Metro to register with my account. After applying the correct APN settings as noted in this thread, I still have a couple of major issues. The first issue is voicemail. Clearly, the native voicemail application on the phone, which is connected with Verizon's voicemail settings, isn't going to work, but I was able to download Metro's Visual Voicemail application off Google Play. However, when I try to use the app, it gives me the following message: "We are unable to connect to the appropriate cellular network. Please check your carrier and APN settings and try again." I also have a similar problem when accessing MyMetro. The 2nd issue I have is reception. My last phone consistently had great reception (5 bars). However, with this phone, I only have 2 bars. My data also drops whenever I make a phone call, which is unusual to say the least. Is there anything I can do to fix these problems? Edit: Forgot to mention. It won't let me activate hotspot either. It says "Unable to connect. Mobile number not found."
