We recently purchased new LG Optimus Black handsets for my workplace, 6 in total. We have since returned 2 of the handsets and are still experiencing problems.

The first issue is with email. We have them set up through an Exchange server. On the initial setup, the email seems to work fine, but when you try and update the inbox after the first time, the phone thinks, the goes blank, then goes back to the menu page. The phones have been repaired and returned to us stating there is nothing wrong with them but they continue to have the problem.

The other issue is with battery life. I have install an app killer on all phones and have them running with low brightness and only have GPS, bluetooth and wireless on when needed. In saying this, the phones generally only last about 6 hours before they require charging. They are being used in a business and the users need to be able to take and make calls throughout the day whilst not in the office without the battery dying every few hours as unfortunately you cannot charge your phone anywhere you go (golf course).

LG want the phones returned again to be checked out but I don't see how it will help as last time the issues weren't fixed.

I personally have a Samsung Galaxy S2 and have never had an issue with it. I would also like to know when LG are releasing the 2.2.3 Gingerbread update on these phones as I am hoping this might fix my problems.

Overall I am not impressed with these phones at all and will never purchase anything from LG again.

    I NEED HELP!!!
