I'm bowing out of the wait for Bionic or SGS2. Going to play with Revolution, Charge, and TB this weekend and will more than likely be getting one of those.
I'm fairly confident that when they do make LTE and dual core play nice they'll tier the 4g and then release the phones. I'm locking in on unlimited now. Don't need a dual core, just woulda been nice. I'll take dual core over LTE thank you.
I think I'm with you. I have two upgrades at my disposal, plus a third coming in July, so I'm not too worried, though. I can just hand off whatever I choose and grab a dual core when they drop (if I decide I truly need one), and I'll still have two more next year.
I did go and play with all these phones today, though. They're mostly all on par with the next. But I have to admit I wasn't impressed with the DX2's dual core. Wasn't a single noticeable diff from the rest of the line up. There were elements I liked to the Charge, Revolution, and TB. Over all, though, I'd say the Charge was the best fit for me.
I also played with the SE X Play (my new fav phone nickname), HTC Trophy (WinMo7), and, yes, even the iPhone 4. The Play is pretty neat if you like to game. Def enjoyed playing on there, and the controls were def pretty responsive. Pretty good job, I'd say. The Trophy, I wasn't impressed with. It may be that I'm too used to Android, but the Trophy seems more gimmicky than anything else. And the iPhone, well, it's just not me.
