I've been waiting way to long...

The longer and longer we have to wait for this phone to come out is just pushing me towards the HTC sensation. We haven't had any new news or leaks in weeks and I feel that by the time this phone comes out it wont have been worth the wait!

I'm feeling your pain. I've had the Droid X since it came out on day one, I'm ready for a new phone. I live in Charlotte, NC which has had LTE for months now and I'm getting tired of having the same old phone with 3g & no front facing camera. I'm leaning towards the sensation too if VZW/Moto continues to treat it's customers like crap. It'd be nice if they would give us some specs, hell phones specs that are just starting to be designed are already out and we can't get shit about a phone that was announced almost half a year ago? really?!?

Ive been saying this since Day 1! Moto and VZW are really dropping the ball with this phone. Im expecting it to be a HUGE letdown.

from what I heard, the Bionic isn't coming out until the end of the summer. I'm more than likely going to end up getting the Charge

Am I to understand that Verizon is getting the Sensation..? Where did you hear this? If so, that's a definite alternative to the never-upcoming Galaxy S II.

No I didn't mean that Verizon is getting the Sensation I was just saying id go to T-mobile for the Sensation instead of waiting for the Bionic.

I'm tired of waiting as well. I actually played with the Bionic at CES and have been waiting ever since. I'm going to grab an X2 on Thursday. Comparable phone, high res screen. Lacking FF Camera and 4g, but I don't have 4g yet anyway (I live outside Los Angeles, and it cuts off a few cities away from me).

There is a rumor that the Bionic will release next month, but it's pretty flimsy. I'll get the X2, then when 4g gets to my area, I'll get a refurb or used Bionic (or whatever else is around at the time).

dmodert66 we're in the same boat. Was gonna wait it out for the bionic or the galaxy s2 but I've been waiting since january to use my upgrade. Was gonna get the Xperia Play but too many shortcomings for me to stick with it for a whole 2 years. Dual core and hdmi mirroring are enough for me.

Do u guys think it will be out by the end of Aug? I was thinking of getting the Charge from Costco and have the 90 day exchange window to wait for the Bionic to come out.

I'm bowing out of the wait for Bionic or SGS2. Going to play with Revolution, Charge, and TB this weekend and will more than likely be getting one of those.

I'm fairly confident that when they do make LTE and dual core play nice they'll tier the 4g and then release the phones. I'm locking in on unlimited now. Don't need a dual core, just woulda been nice. I'll take dual core over LTE thank you.

I think I'm with you. I have two upgrades at my disposal, plus a third coming in July, so I'm not too worried, though. I can just hand off whatever I choose and grab a dual core when they drop (if I decide I truly need one), and I'll still have two more next year.

I did go and play with all these phones today, though. They're mostly all on par with the next. But I have to admit I wasn't impressed with the DX2's dual core. Wasn't a single noticeable diff from the rest of the line up. There were elements I liked to the Charge, Revolution, and TB. Over all, though, I'd say the Charge was the best fit for me.

I also played with the SE X Play (my new fav phone nickname), HTC Trophy (WinMo7), and, yes, even the iPhone 4. The Play is pretty neat if you like to game. Def enjoyed playing on there, and the controls were def pretty responsive. Pretty good job, I'd say. The Trophy, I wasn't impressed with. It may be that I'm too used to Android, but the Trophy seems more gimmicky than anything else. And the iPhone, well, it's just not me.

So you guys want a phone that was having serious problems playing nice with VZW's LTE network? Good thing the phone got delayed if it was in fact having overheating issues, battery issues, etc! I'd rather wait it out for a quality product that won't be a waste of money.
