I've got the 10 for about 3 weeks and found just one problem with it. It can't play max resolution of the video. I mean, when that video's max resolution is 1080p, I can choose just 720p. The 1080p choice don't appear in quality setting. As well as 480p60, I can choose just 360p60.

I've try to numerous thing such as uninstall update, clear app data, but it still don't work. Other than that, the phone is VERY great but this flaw is also big for me.

Thanks for reading and sorry for the language.

You verified 1080 is available on a PC? Can you link to the video in question? Perhaps others can test

The first one is only available to me at 480 on my Nexus 6, but I can watch Gigapixels @ 1080p. Could it be the speed of your data connection that is the bottleneck?

I think the wifi issue isn't a point because I use the same wifi signal on my PC, Laptop etc. I can even stream 4k video on youtube with no problem.

    And.... What is Binge On?

Edit : Just saw the link about Binge On. I don't use T-Mobile carrier. So.. that shouldn't be the case.

Park right next to a cell tower used by your cell provider. If you can watch 1080p videos then, you can safely say it's not the phone it's the reception. I've done it. Signal strength is the key to watching high def videos without any issues.

I've tried in every conditions. WIFI, LTE, anywhere, anytime it's the same. I have iphone and macbook with me. The result is iphone and macbook can watch 720p60 or 480p60 with no buffering problem while the 10 can watch just 360p60.
