Help Jailbreaking apple tv 2 (problem)

Sorry guys to ask a question about an apple product but i didnt know anywhere else to ask!!

Im attempting to jailbreak my apple tv 2.

I downloaded the SeasOnPass application then followed all the procedures....

When it asks to put the apple tv in DFU mode i have done this and it continues... it runs the program for a minute then a screen pops up with an error message "Firmware update failed". I cant seem to get past this stage.

Has anyone had this problem before or point me in the right direction??

LOL, hey Ryan--I'm sure there's someone here that might be able to help you, but it certainly sounds like a long shot given that it's an Apple device.

However, I'm would bet that someone Android TV area might have an idea given the possibility that they might also have that device also or had experience with that.
