    I've been following up on the new Java exploit that affect all OS and I have dissabled JAVA plugins on all my browsers.

    http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2414191,00.asp

    I've searched for how this exploit may affect Android phones but without much luck.

    Namely, what I would like to know is;

    1) Does the Java exploit affect Android OS?
    2) If it does, how so ? e.g. only via browsing the internet or otherwise (e.g apps)?
    3) If Android is at risk; how do I disable JAVA (is it even possible) and if I do so will it kill most apps / mess up my phone?

    I'm quite suprised that there is a lot of information out there on how JAVA affects workstations (and steps one should take to protect himself) but how there is no information on how it affects Android (if at all) and steps one should take to protect the phone.

    Any feedback / thoughts / advise welcome

    Many thanks in advance

    It does NOT affect Android. Absolutely nothing to worry about. Relax and enjoy your device.
