I'm sure this is a stupid question, but I'm not proud. How do you "Dismiss" a notification from the Stock Calendar in Jelly Bean? I get a notification on my tablet and open it and the only thing there is an edit button, a delete button and a way to delete the notifications. The latter is what I have been using, but it just seems wrong.

    Anybody have any idea?

Dismiss the notification? I trust you mean to eliminate it from your notification bar without actually entering the app. Assuming as much, the next time you get a calendar alert, just swipe the notification off to one side. FWIW, all notifications that aren't for something running (like the music player while you are using it), can be cleared in that fashion.

I knew that I could do that, but it didn't occur to me that it might actually dismiss the notification. Thanks for that, I evidently lost the forest for the trees!!
