Well, I only came here to try and get help with an issue but I've got 18 views and no replies so I figured while I wait I might as well post in a couple of these easy to answer topics.

Just found out that the Galaxy S3 might get Jelly bean before the Nexus....pretty annoying. How does the flagship Google phone still not have the update?

I had posted about this same issue a few days ago. I am on Wind Mobile. I had no idea that customers from other carriers also haven't got the update yet. My Nexus S had jelly bean a month ago. Samsung or whoever is responsible for updates had better hurry up.

I want to put Yakju on my device but was worried.... If I need to bring in the phone for warranty service, unroot and restore to factory, will I be able to find a yakjux image? Is that even necessary?

After you unlock the boot loader and root, you can use cwm or twrp recovery to make a backup of the stock os. Move the backup to your computer for safe keeping. If you ever need to return to stock, re-flash the stock backup in that recovery, then lock and unlock the boot loader again to wipe out the root, and finally lock the bootloader a second time to get back to total stock.
