Hi all. Am keen on a pair of a-jays headphones for my galaxy s3 and am looking at the control app for the headphones - JAYS Headset Control for Android - Jays -, but I noticed a line there that says "Volume control only available on v2.2 – 4.0.4 due to Android Jelly Bean limitations". Can anyone explain what these limitations are, if they affect all headphones and if there are decent in-ear headphones that offer a mic with full remote functions that don't run into this problem on my S3 running 4.1.2?

Hmm. I'm guessing that no-one has heard of any 'volume limitations' with JB since there's been no responses to this post?

    Thanks again.

There are certain limitations in ics and jellybean. The only limitation that I've come across has been not being able to control the system volume separate from the ring/notification volumes. I've tried numerous headphones and have had no issues with any of them.
