Help , jerky picture!

Dear All!

After my lenovo Tab10 had ended its life, I bought a Lenovo P11; nice, smooth, etcetera and so forth.
Small problem: I watch replays (Ziggogo.tv in The Netherlands) which ran absolutely fine on my Tab10 but results in an unbearable jerky picture on my P11.
I think, INMO (M for modest), that I, or rather my tablet, may have a buffering problem, but how can I increase my video-buffers? Is that possible at all under Android; the table not being rooted?

As far as I know, your best bet may be to lower the quality of the videos.

This can be done rather easily with YouCut.

Start the video playing as usual, then share it to YouCut.

Affirm (checkmark) that you wish to import it, then allow it to load.

This is a video/audio editing app, but I also use it for things like this.

Once it has loaded, go to Save and select a lower resolution and or other selections.

Usually a small decrease is barely noticeable.

A slower, but FOSS app that can do the same thing (although it's not quite as simple) is Video Transcoder.

There are not as many options, but the app is smaller and is more purposeful for this.

It is also ad-free, but it is much slower in the conversion.

Note:
You can use a firewall to block internet access to apps that you do not want ads on.

This is an excellent option for apps that do not need web access in order to work.

If you do get ads after the firewall is running, then clear the cache of the app with ads.

YouCut only shows ads after you have made your changes and select Save, as far as I know.
