From what I understand JIT can help things run faster. Can anyone tell me exactly what this does for my Eris, and why I would want to install it? Furthermore how?

You can get it from GRDLKS page, not sure how it works though. I've read where some people have had some FC's and issues with NAV, (I think). I've been running his Vanilla rom with JIT for a while and haven't had any problems. It's fast.

I'm running VanillaDroid ROM with JIT as well. I've had 3 reboots in the 2 weeks I've been running it. No issues besides that.

its a zip file you just flash like you would a rom just don't wipe data i think. doesn't work if your rom is sensed base though at least not with any ones i've tried.

Yeah I flashed it. made everything super unstable. running aloysius v5. Will doing a full wipe(data/cache) and reflashing the rom remove it?

i think there was a zip file to remove it too on grdlcks site which would be easier but if that doesn't work then yeah doing a fresh install after a wipe will remove it or do a nand restore if you did a backup before you flashed the JIT

Maybe I'm confused but no one has actually answered the question:

What is it? What does it do?
