    Hi there,

    Android Version: 2.2
    Network: ??
    Taskiller Used?: No
[Optional]Are You rooted & which Rom: No
    Issue:
I'm a newbie Android smartphone user in love with my Desire :)

I've seen a few people on Android Forums recommend the Jorte calendar app, so I installed it and then I moved it to the SD card to save space on the internal storage. Then Jorte said that the widgets were not available, so I moved the app back to internal storage. Still no widgets available. Then I uninstalled Jorte, restarted phone, reinstalled, etc. several times - still no widgets available.

Any ideas what I can do about this?

EDIT: Problem solved - when I press the + on the homescreen, then I do get the choice of Jorte widgets even though the app says that widget settings are not available when app is moved to SD. Still puzzled about this, though....

Apps with widgets should not be moved to SD card. I found Jorte widgets a pain without any of the SD card business. Just kept disappearing. In the end purchased pure grid calendar. It was a good move for me.

Yeah, I finally learned that :) I didn't fancy Jorte either, so I went with CalenGoo which I like a lot so far.

I do have some widgets that tend to disappear from the homescreen from time to time. I wonder if it's something I'm doing wrong or if it's to do with the widget programming or something.

If they're not on sd card, theres not much you can be doing wrong really.

    What widgets are they?

If you have moved those apps to SD card, then that is the most likely cause that the widgets disappear from homescreen.

Well, I guess it must have been apps on SD that caused the issue, because it seems to have gone away now :) Thanks for helping out.
