Juicedefender?

    I have read contradicting threads on this. Does Juicedefender work on 2.1 Hero? Some say yes, yes but limited and no. What is the verdict?

    It works perfectly, except for the lockscreen time out option. It's supposed to wait until the screen's been off for X seconds before the lock screen kicks in, but it doesn't work. It will usually kick in straight away and then occasionally it wont appear even if the screen has been off for a while.

    But everything else works just fine :)

    I installed it again today and it say my phone is not rooted and will now run all that it does.

    Is it worth it to have on a phone that is not rooted? Is there a better application for battery saving out there for a phone that is not rooted?

    Which bits are you missing out on without root access? Looking at the FAQ on their website (accessed through the app), the app works whether you have it or not.

    Since you're running 2.1 but aren't rooted I'm guessing you're using a Sprint Hero, right? If so I'll move this to the right section.
