Just a quick question.

So my question is this. Can the swipe keyboard be uninstalled without causing any issues? Yes my phone is rooted and I'm using Rom toolbox. I already froze the app and haven't noticed any issues.

One of the Roms comes without some come with it. So I'd assume it wouldn't be a problem especially if you froze it and it's not causing issues. But, I'm no expert. Leave it frozen for at least a day and if nothing goes wrong try it. Can always reinstall

Fortunately, that's why I created this thread :)

In short, yes Swype can be removed without issues. As long as you still have another keyboard installed, removing another one is just fine - just keep in mind that without any keyboards, you'd find it very difficult to go about installing a new one! Lol :)

Does it not already come with the stock android keyboard also? you should be fine removing a swipe keyboard.
