Hello everyone. I'm running mik3d with golden monkey. I know there is a patch for mik3d (4.53.651.1 ota patch) and then the radio update. Which one do I need to update to get the latest everything (radios and the current updates that fix voice to text for example)? Or do I do both? If both, is there a correct order? Not asking how to do this, just which one or both.
    Thanks for the help

the order is not too important. you can flash the radio update at anytime. your radios is one of the few things that sticks on your phone depsite of wiping and flashing. just make sure that you have a nandroid backup with wimax backed up and saved somewhere safe like your computer.

So I do need to update both the radios and do the patch? I wasn't sure if the radios were included in the patch

yes do both. i believe that the patch just adds the fixes that was included in the latest ota 4.53 release. it does not have any radios included.

just be aware of this:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...before-you-flash-your-radios-read-thread.html. do not get scared of the warnings. just know what you are getting in to.

Thanks for the help and info once again ocnbrze. The warning don't get me anymore. After flashing and playing around, I've gotten comfortable enough to read the warnings but not run from them.
