just got the e-mail.....but signed up for it 3-4 weeks ago. if that's their turn around time to send out "new/informative" e-mails, do you really think the launch date is soon? not likely.

Sprint usually sends out the email when their about to launch. I remember getting the Evo email close to launch also. Doesn't matter when you signed up. They send out the emails close to launch normally.

got the email, too, and was frantically spanning the email left/right/up/down trying to see if it has release date or additional information. what a let down.

do you remember how long before the release date of the evo that you got the email for it?

Sprint sent the first one 5/12/10 then sent a followup email the day before the EvO launch as a reminder 6/3/10.

They also included dates as the first email came right after the date was publicly released, I got my first Evo e-mail within minutes of the annoucment. Sadly that wasn't the case with this e-mail but I hope by the first we have a date set in stone, keyword: HOPE!

It's a 4G enabled phone so yes. In one of the online pamphlets it says $79 a month rate plan. That figures in the $10 for the 4G.
