Hey all, I just got my car mount and multimedia station and I'm wondering how to get the screen to stay lit? I'm hoping that I don't have to go into the settings and set it to always on every time I want to user either of the docks.

    Thanks all!

You'll need to plug it in....on both docks

Install "ScreenModeWidget". Perfect solution if you're NOT going to plug the DROID in while using either dock. Bit if the DROID is plugged in, you don't need the widget.

I'm assuming you guys are talking about it being plugged into the wall. I have it plugged in via USB to my computer and the screen doesn't stay on.

Yea when it is in the USB slot on a computer it will turn off after a little bit, personally I prefer that because at night it can get very annoying.

Joe is scared of the dark though so he likes to keep it on at night.

Ah......That's because USB does not always supply enough voltage as much as a power supply.....esp. if you don't have USB 2.0. USB to a computer is hit or miss with the folks around here.

Bummer, I guess I'll just have to plug it into the wall. Thanks all. I'm really impressed with the quality of the Media station and the car mount from Motorola. Bought them on Verizon's website, free overnight shipping. I ordered them yesterday at 11:30 a.m. and got them this morning at 10:00 a.m. Less then 24 hours, almost as fast as going to the store. :)

Just because I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they're NOT out to get me!
