Just ordered a Transformer...EXCITED!

I've been holding off on the tablet purchase for a while, but finally got one I feel is worthy. I hope the wait is worth it! I used the "I want an eReader for Nick" (my 11 m.o.) as my leverage with the wife. I won't tell her it is almost $200 more than the Nook Color shhhhh...

I was really debating on this or the Nook or the Galaxy Tab. Ultimately, it was the cameras and larger screen that pushed me to the Transformer. I'm really looking forward to trying this baby out!

Thank you Abe's of Maine for letting me keep it in my cart overnight while I slept on it!

You wont be disappointed, It may not have the feel of the more expensive tabs but it's good and the screen is awesome.

Well, all excited for nothing. Turns out they didn't let me keep it in my basket overnight. I checked with my paypal account and it said cancelled, so I call and they said it was a pre-order. I told them when I ordered it was in stock and I checked out as if it was, but no dice. That's what I get for hesitating. The hunt continues!

Excited again! I ordered from Newegg yesterday and I have a tracking number! I paid a little extra, but I got one at least.

I got real lucky found mines new in box on craigslist, was sealed with receipt everywhere was sold out, camera didnt impress me much but i didnt buy this for the cameras lol

It came inearlier today, but i haven't had too much time to play. We are preparing for flooding in the omaha metro area and we've been moving our stuff to a storage unit on higher ground. Too bad...we've been trying to sell our home for a while and this doesnt help matters much. BTW, i typed this on my new toy!

I jusr read that too. Its not their fault though, the water has caused them to shut the plant down. They dont even have electrical in place anymore, they removed it until the water recedes. The river is 30 feet above normal levels! Just dont go swimming!

I'm having a little bit of buyer's remorse. It's an awesome gadget, but perhaps not for my uses yet. Kids love it though! It's slower than I expected and I'm not crazy about the loose sides everyone else talks about. I swear it is worse every time I pick it up!
