Just played wow through pdanet.

    And it was awesome! I'm in the middle of switching ISPs and I decided to try playing through my tethered HTC Evo. I had 2k latency in major populated cities but had around 500ms in instances and other not-so-populated areas.

    I was able to do the daily dungeon so i don't lose out on frost badges while my new ISP gets gets set up. :)

    I've done the same thing with my Hero. My late was around 200ms when I was in Evdo coverage, but when it bumps into 1x it goes to around 5-8k. Niffty!

    I was tempted to visit the downtown miami starbucks to try it out with 4G coverage. I'm sure I'd get 100-200ms there, which is what I got with my old ISP.

    I do this with Eve Online when I'm travelling and I get no lag in my normal day to day things.
