I had him check my account to see if he could get into it, faked an upgrade with a in stock device. No problem, put deposit down for 2 lines on my Family SERO.
The 10 bucks is definetly required, the 20 dollar gift towards accessories, he said if we have nothing available for the EVO I can just get a gift card to spend on anything in store.
Good luck to you guys.

hows that? I was able to do this with the Pre on launch date too, but not at Radio Shack, I just had him try and access my account just to see if he can access it. I have reciepts, and everything. Where did you get the shady part?

Question for you,

So do you know how much you will have to pay for each line when you upgrade to the EVO? Is it $199 plus taxes? Or do you get the $150 upgrade discount off of $199 to make it $49?

THanks for the clarification.

no its 199.99 plus tax and activation.
the 50 deposit is subtracted from that amount.

If you joined SERO from day 1, you would know there was never a Family SERO, I meant the Familly referral plan as they changed the SEROs to that.

Yes that is correct. You can activate any of these phones on the new sero plans. Just not the old 30 dollar ones.

there were no family plans on the original SERO plans. I had the 1250 49.95 plan and changed to the EPRP family plan and I can now upgrade to any phone. It is not called SERO but Eprp i believe.

not gonna happen

what's not gonna happen?
Maybe I should re edit my post, I meant the Everything Referall Family plan. I activated and upgraded 4 Pres on launch date with this plan. I never done it at Radio Shack, but as for activating a new released device on this special plan. I know for sure I was able to. LOL

You're not talking about SERO then. I'm not sure why you even used the word if you're talking about EPRP since they have nothing to do with each other besides being discounted plans.

No need to get pissy because you used the wrong plan name to describe your situation.

ok, look the thread is over, I used the wrong name, if you followed the thread, I knew the plan as the "newer SERO" since the original sero had expired. There are others who understand, and some who just dont.
End of story.

Yeah, I guess I was the one mistaken since I know plenty of people who still have the original SERO plan and know that cannot be used for the newer phones. Had you used the correct terminology, then I would not have argued with you in the first place. I am on SU and here now and do not recall anyone using SERO to describe the EPRP, but maybe I missed it. I used to have the original SERO plans as well, but dropped them so that I could get the latest and greatest phones. Plus I could use my corporate discount.

well, i edited the title. that should clear it up, like i said, I only intended to tell people that you could get phones on launch.

NEW SERO (EPRP) and discount - SprintUsers.com
