I just rooted my phone and my google maps wont work. It keeps telling me there is an update so I click update and it wont install. It always says "Package is not signed properly" then when I just try and open google maps on my phone since its already prelaoded it force closes. Please help!

I had this happen to me. You may want to restarting your phone. Also, what ROM are you on. If you "just" rooted, that 2.1 ROM isn't very good. Flash another one and you should be set.

I use Grdlcoks Vanilla ROM. I have tried other ones, but I keep coming back. Very smooth and bug-free.

Me too! i found a link that one needs to uninstall the old version of the map via ADB, then install it. I'm going to tray that later.

If you love sense, try Sensable 3.1 - have had 0 issues with it since it came out.
