Its always recommended to do an FDR when switching OS. There is to much being changed for everything to work right.
Ok followed instructions, did the reset, flashed the roms, everything booted right away. But when I try to update or install anything off the APP Market, I get an error: "Error retrieving information from server. [RPC:S_5:AEC-0]" Any ideas? Belay that, found the fix online, I don't think its related to the rom
Thank you for the hard work and rapid release! One thing that came up on mine was that "Superuser" must be updated etc - it looks like root didn't stick properly. I know this is easily fixed by going back to recovery and reflashing, etc, but wanted to let you know...
I've had that error with other devices and a cache wipe and a reboot works. Either that or an entire data wipe of Play.
I could not find comprehensive instructions either although they may be here somewhere. I just got this phone Wednesday night. Lol. Wetbiker7 gave me the scoop but I have not tried it yet. I know that it is the Bible on S-Off, I just have not had time to try it.
