I was having the HTC Mail bug where the memory would fill up and give me a memory low error after a few days and make the phone completely unusable.

I downloaded K9 mail with high hopes. I like it, but it has trouble with wav files that my company voicemail comes in on. It will play 1 second of the message, then no audio as it slowly works its' way to the end of the message and basically force closes the app. Every once in a while it plays one fine, but that is few and far between.

HTC Mail played them all fine.

    Ideas?

eta this seems to only be happening in my default account. I have it checking two accounts, one works just fine, but the default locks it up on every message. Settings are identical.

Also surprised that they played with HTC Mail. It's a known issue that android does not play many .wav formatted files.

Remote Wave works great for this.

I even had a .wav file from a different voice mail system that remote wave didn't play and android played and the developer said he'd add support for it.
