Help kaloer alarm clock problem

I just got this alarm clock. It is fantastic.....very customizable. I have one very annoying problem though. Found no solution searching sorry.

I set the alarm ringtone to a song I would like to wake up to. When the alarm goes off....the song that should play is preceded by a rather annoying alarm bell type noise. After that goes off (which wakes me up in an uncomfortable manner), my song plays immediately following.

HOW DO I STOP THE ANNOYING ALARM SOUND PRECEDING ALL OF MY SET ALARM RINGTONES?

Ya I really love this alarm clock and its features. It is just strange that the actual alarm behaves like this. Some annoying standard alarm noise sounds for like 2 seconds (enough to wake me up abruptly)...than my song I picked for the alarm plays after I have already been woken up. That is messed up.

I could not find a setting to turn that off myself. Any help appreciated.

I tried it and installed, it made my phone lag bad, took nearly Minute to unlock.

Never had that problem - have been using it since just after launch...

I'd uninstall/reinstall and try again?

(FWIW, never had lag - or any other semblance of a problem with kaoler, either. It's by FAR one of my all time favorite apps...)

I have no issues with it either. I don't know why it would do that. I think I'm going to watch this thread to see what the solution turns out to be if you ever find one.

Have you rebooted the phone since installing it? You could always try and get in touch with the developer and see if it's a bug or something...

maybe i will, i did like the features it had, just when i went to unlock my phone it took forever, maybe i had a setting off.

Ive been using it as my alarm for several months now. My favorite thing about it is that it can be set to turn on automatically once your phone is plugged in. It makes for a great desk clock.

I hear everybody rave about this Kaloer clock... so I downloaded it, and yes, very pretty and seemingly very customizable... but, of all the music I have on the phone (several gigs), it strangely only detects 2 songs.. why? The location directory for those two songs is the same as the rest..

Also... my Kaloer Clock screen turns OFF after 1 minute.. most other clocks override the screen sleep timer... whats happening here?

Try the new update. Also, regarding the song stuff.......i had a similar problem. I just kept trying over and over again ant it eventually worked. Rebooting the phone may help too. I know it is not the answer you want though.
