    No idea on the first question... flashing the zip of a new color should change the notification colors to whatever you select them to be when going through the options when you download in RomManager...

    As for the music app thing, JRummy answered your question in the main thread...

    The Spare Parts app allows you to change text color for the clock, date, carrier ID and notifications.

    not on Froyo roms, cyanogen based yes but not 2.2
