I was updating my apps and kaspersky said it was upated, is after shutting off and removing the shield logo from my push menu and then reinstating it. This is odd since I just installed it several days ago, and the last update was feb. 29. It was not a signature database update.

it is not unusual for security firms to update their programs rapidly.
that is a very hectic market, I have seen AVG completely reinstall itself twice in one week.

If the security app seems to be normal, I would venture to say it is okay.

but, on a side note, I read in the news that the USA is now backing off on using Kaspersky security products in our critical installations.
Military bases, finance, big corporations, etc.... that is a Russian owned company.

Mr. Kaspersky himself is just about the King of Security, he was in the forefront many years ago.

I doubt russia gives a crap about me and my phone. I am not the one trying to destabilize the middle east with ISIS to harrass russian allies. :p
